I grew up in Anderson, Indiana. I attended Liberty Christian School from Pre-K through 12th grade. I completed my undergraduate work at Anderson University. I graduated May 9, 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics. During my time at AU, I worked as a TA for several classes in the Physics Department. I also worked as a programmer and then project manager for the Software Research Center run by Professor Sam Blanchard. Ashley and I were married on June 27, 2009. I received my M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in January 2013. I completed the requirements for the Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Notre Dame in July 2013. I'm currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer in the Department of Computational Biology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
